# The ToolPoint Solutions story

ToolPoint Solutions started in 2024 with a simple idea: a mechanic shouldn’t have to down tools and drive across town to buy new ones. So we put the tools on a van and brought them to the workshop instead.

Every week the ToolPoint van calls on workshops and garages across South and West Yorkshire, in Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield and Wakefield. You get to pick the tools up, see the quality for yourself and try before you buy, with straight trade advice on the spot. We also bring the van to private events.

Most of our customers found us on Facebook, and that is still where you’ll see what’s on the van each week, from full mechanics’ tool sets to Milwaukee M12 batteries. Plenty of business is still done the old way, with a message or a phone call, and we like it that way.
